Blood collection was administered before induction of coccidiosis at age of two weeks, using direct heart puncture. Coccidiosis may be a common parasitic disease among broiler chickens that causes infection during a specific region of the intestine. The induction of coccidiosis assists within the evaluation of hematological data which may be necessary to offer a better challenge dose and therefore the blood was collected on the 42nd day.
Sterile gauge 19 needles and syringes in tubes containing Ethylene Diamineate ethanoic acid (EDTA) were wont to collect 3.5 ml of blood from three birds per treatment that were selected randomly. The biochemical blood analysis including triglycerides, Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT), Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST), total protein, and total cholesterol was conducted through automated screening. Under testing, each analyte was processed through a spectrophotometer under regulated temperature.
